Field Roles:

Sam is the DS of the northern Mekong district, NCM coordinator for N. Thailand, Mission advisor to northern Thailand District, and is overseeing district planting in N. Thailand, N. Burma, and SW China. Lumae holds the fort while Sam travels, travels with Sam to villages, works with women's ministries, and helps with Nazarene Child Sponsorship program.

All the girls are in the States now so occasional financial support is always appreciated.

Items of Interest:

All the ministries Sam has been involved in are forming of new frontier Districts: Northern Thailand District has been weaned off now while 1. Northern Burma is forming with the Lisu tribe 2. SW China among the Lisu people are forming 3. New working spreading to Tibetan people through the Lisu Christian and 4. trying to open doors into Laos.

Prayer Requests - Northern Burma:

1. We have 14 Churches and we are going and training them 4 to 5 times per year. Each time we spend 1 to 2 weeks teaching Bible courses leading up to pastoral ordination.
2. We have 4 Bible college students from N. Burma in India attending Bible College They will come back and help train their own people. Pray for support for them and their studies.
3. Pray for the Heavenly Grace Home for abused and sex trade kids in the town of Thachilek They need monthly support and training for the care givers of the home.

Prayer Requests - SW China:

1. We have 30 churches there. Pray for the new district and their District Advisory Board.
2. Pray for the new center for training Lay and Pastors in the Boashan area.
3. Pray for financial support for the infrastructures needed for this center.
4. Pray for the Lisu Children's Orphanage in Liuku. We now have 92 Lisu orphans and we need support for this ministry in terms of Child Sponsorship.
5. The Good News are reaching the Tibetans through the Lisu Churches and training goes on among this least reach people group the Tibetans in the region of Shangri-La or De Qing region.

Prayer Requests - Northern Thailand District:

1. The new and first national DS Pastor Benjamin Keonamkhang and family.
2. Pray for the District Advisory Board and his team and leadership.
3. Pray for the new Bible college the Southeast Asia Nazarene Bible College(SEANBC) located in MaeTang district, ChiangMai Thailand.
