The Florida Gators Baseball program is pleased to be offering our Winter Prospect Camp. This camp is designed to help players learn the same basic fundamental skills that help prepare the Gators for the toughest conference in college baseball. Campers will get to hone their skills with instruction from the Florida Baseball coaching staff, along with current Florida Gators players.
Hitting & Defensive Infield-Outfield Session
Dates
December 7, 2024 – 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Ages
This session of the camp is designed for 8th GRADE and HIGH SCHOOL AGED PLAYERS graduating from 2025-2029. During this session, players will be coached in various aspects of offensive, in the areas of hitting mechanics, bunting, and base running. Hitters will take batting practice in the cage as well as on the field. During the defensive skill work. Instruction will include ground ball and fly ball fundamentals, as well as team aspects of defense, such as pop-up priorities and cut-offs and relays.
Two-way players will have the option to add the pitcher’s session. You will have the option to add on a bullpen session during online registration to your cart prior to checkout.
THE CATCHER’S DEFENSIVE SESSION WILL TAKE PLACE DURING THE PITCHERS ONLY SESSION. CATCHERS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO SIGN UP FOR THIS SESSION. THEY WILL BE ADDED TO IT AUTOMATICALLY
Cost
The cost of the Hitting and infield-outfield defensive session is $250. A Gators Baseball camp t-shirt is included in the cost.

Check-in
Check-in for the infield-outfield session will take place from 8:00-8:55 AM on Saturday December 7th, 2024 at Gate 3 at Florida Ballpark.
*Campers must have all paperwork turned in prior to or during check-in. If paperwork has not been submitted by this time, the camper will not be able to participate until all paperwork has been completed.*

Pitching Only Session
Dates
December 7, 2024 – 1:00 PM-3:00 PM
Ages
This session of the camp is designed for 8th GRADE AND HIGH SCHOOL AGED PLAYERS graduating from 2025-2029. During this session, players will be coached up in various aspects of either pitching or catching skill work. The pitchers will receive pitching instruction, in the areas of pitching mechanics, bullpen work, arm care, holding runners, and PFP fundamentals. Catchers will be instructed in the areas of receiving, blocking, throwing mechanics, as well as other fundamentals unique to the catching position. Catchers will catch live bullpens and be instructed throughout.
Cost
The cost of the pitching only session is $150. Catchers that are registered for the Hitting/Defensive Session will not be charged additional. Position players that are part of the hitting and defensive session will have the option to add this session for additional $50. A Gators Baseball camp t-shirt is included in the cost.

Check-in

All registrations are being accepted online.
Only credit/debit cards will be accepted as a method of payment. Florida Baseball Camps are not able to accept any cash or checks as payment.
Required Forms

Refund & Cancellation Policy
- $50.00 non-refundable deposit.
- Refund requests must be made before Monday, December 2nd, 2024 at 11:59. No refund requests will be accepted after this date and time.
- No refunds will be issued due to a camper withdrawing from camp or camp session once camp has begun.
- If a refund is requested due to an emergency or extenuating circumstances that prevent the camper from participating in this camp, contact needs to be made with the camp director as soon as possible. The camp director, along with compliance approval, will determine if the circumstances warrant the issuance of a refund. Under some circumstances, the total amount paid, including the non-refundable deposit may be refunded with approved medical documentation and approval from compliance.
- All refund requests are subject to approval by Florida Baseball Camps.
- All refunds are subject to a 4.0% fee of the overall amount that has been paid towards camp that is non-refundable, including in some cases of full refunds.
- Florida Baseball Camps may cancel a camp at any time at their discretion. If Florida Baseball decides to cancel the camp, a full refund (full refund includes the original non-refundable deposit; full refunds do not include the 4.0% of the overall paid amount to cover fees) will be issued without request.
- If this baseball camp is cancelled or suspended for any reason that is outside the control of Florida Baseball Camps, a full refund (full refund includes the original non-refundable deposit; full refunds do not include the 4.0% of the overall paid amount to cover fees) will be issued without request.
What to Bring
All campers should bring a baseball glove, baseball cleats, turf/tennis shoes, bat, batting helmet, batting gloves, baseball attire and anything else players may feel they will need for camp. Catchers will need to bring their own catching equipment if they are participating as a catcher.
Campers can bring water, sports drinks and/or snacks if they desire. Water will be provided throughout camp for participants.
Please make sure that all personal belongings are labelled with the camper’s name. Florida Baseball is not responsible for lost items.
NO FOOD IS PROVIDED. CAMPERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BRING THEIR OWN FOOD/SNACKS OR HAVE A PARENT PROVIDE IT FOR THEM.
Medical Insurance & Care
The Camp carries an EXCESS medical insurance policy to cover medical expenses for injuries/accidents, which occur in the course of the camps activities. Medical expenses which are declined payment through the participant's personal insurance and/or through the excess policy become the responsibility of the participant's parents/ guardians. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE MEDICAL INSURANCE TO PARTICIPATE.
Every Florida Baseball Camp has at least one certified Athletic Trainer in attendance throughout the duration of camp.

When registering please make sure you fill in your email address where you would like to be contacted at. This is the primary way we can correspond with everyone regarding the camp. Please make sure you are checking your email regularly for any information that we send along about this camp.
Per NCAA rules, all sport camps and clinics conducted by The University of Florida Athletic Association are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender, and/or number restrictions as specified by each camp.
- All campers are required to provide a Waiver of liability/Hold Harmless Agreement.
- All campers are required to provide a physician's statement. A copy of a physical completed within one year prior to camp is acceptable in lieu of physician's signature.
- All campers are required to have medical insurance.
UAA policy allows participation in overnight/resident camps only for campers that are 13 years old by the start of camp. Please refer to each sport's camp page for additional information.
As camps are open to the public, there could be on-site photography or video by parents, guardians or visitors.
Refunds may be granted in extreme circumstances with approval from the camp director and compliance office. If the UAA cancels a camp for any reason, the camp is only responsible for a refund of fees paid to the camp as part of registration.
Only parents or legal guardians may provide personally identifiable information through the University of Florida websites.
